Job description
Help rebuild overnight emergency care at Middletown Veterinary Hospital in Middletown, Delaware. We are family owned and operated, have served our community for over 40 years, and have no corporate oversight. We have AAHA accreditation.
We are seeking experienced ER veterinarians and an ER lead; appropriately matched criticalists are welcome. Full time is three 12-hour shifts, 8 pm-8 am, with the rotation discussed individually. Associate bases start at $155,000, with flexibility for experience; the ER lead base starts at $200,000. Compensation includes 22% monthly ProSal, guaranteed base salary, no negative accrual between months, and an annual high-producer supplement.
Our separate 4,000-square-foot surgical center includes three ORs and a fourth dental/contaminated-procedure room. We offer cone beam CT, endoscopy, orthopedic surgery equipment, and rehabilitation facilities with an underwater treadmill and indoor swimming pool. Hospital leadership available to provide emergency surgery backup. We are building the overnight team and welcome candid discussions about staffing and clinical support.
Full-time benefits include health, vision and dental coverage, 180 hours PTO, two paid CE days, CE allowance, professional expenses, 401(k) matching and service discounts.
