The Role
Provide emergency and urgent care, including triage, stabilization, diagnostics, and treatment planning for high-acuity cases
Manage trauma, critical-care, and select emergency surgeries in a fully equipped surgical suite
Utilize in-house diagnostics, digital imaging, and ultrasound to guide timely medical decisions
Collaborate closely with experienced technicians and client service staff to ensure high-quality patient care and communication
Maintain comprehensive medical records and clear client education during stressful situationsContribute to a culture of mentorship and knowledge-sharing across the clinical team
Share a rotation that includes evenings, weekends, and holidays, with established overnight monitoring systems
Requirements
DVM/VMD (or equivalent) from an accredited institution
License to practice (or eligibility for licensure) in the State of Michigan
Eligibility to work in the United States
DEA license (or eligibility)
Strong clinical judgment, communication, and teamwork skills; ER experience preferred, but motivated new graduates with an interest in emergency medicine are welcome to apply
