About the Opportunity
accel bi corporation is seeking an ERP Data Migration Quality Assurance Specialist for a proposed independent QA engagement supporting One Washington. You will assess migration quality, exception management, and agency-level data readiness for a statewide Workday implementation.
Responsibilities
• Independently assess data migration plans, controls, and quality evidence.
• Analyze data exception rates and trends across migration cycles.
• Evaluate ownership and accountability for data exceptions.
• Assess the adequacy of data cleanup and corrective actions.
• Evaluate agency-, division-, and cohort-level data readiness before cutover.
• Identify migration risks and their downstream impact on implementation milestones.
• Produce evidence-based findings, recommendations, and reporting inputs.
Required Qualifications
• At least five years of direct QA, IV&V, audit, or other independent assurance experience on large ERP implementations.
• Direct experience assessing ERP data migration quality.
• Experience analyzing data exception rates and evaluating exception ownership.
• Experience assessing division-, agency-, or cohort-level data readiness.
• Ability to translate data quality evidence into clear readiness assessments and recommendations.
Preferred Qualifications
• Workday Financials migration experience.
• Public-sector financial data migration experience.
• Multi-wave ERP implementation experience.
• Legacy-system or mainframe data transition experience.
Certifications may supplement, but do not replace, the required experience.
