Escrow AssistantWe're looking for a detail-oriented Escrow Assistant to support a fast-paced escrow team. This role is ideal for someone who thrives on organization, multitasking, and working behind the scenes to keep real estate transactions running smoothly from start to finish.What You'll DoBefore Closing:Order and review payoff statements, utilities, and tax informationEnsure all file requirements are met (liens, judgments, bankruptcy, etc.)Coordinate HOA documents including bylaws, financials, and lettersCommunicate with agents, lenders, and clients to gather key informationAssist with preparing legal documents such as Power of Attorney and Quitclaim DeedsVerify wire transfers and assist with disbursementsSupport Escrow Officer and provide updates on file statusAt Closing:Assist with entering lender figures and preparing closing packagesPrint documents and checks for closingHelp coordinate communication with lenders and agentsAfter Closing:Finalize and audit files for completenessPrepare documents for recording and shipmentTrack and follow up on any outstanding escrow balancesOrganize files for scanning and storageWhat We're Looking ForStrong attention to detail and organizational skillsAbility to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environmentExcellent communication and customer service skillsReal estate or escrow experience preferred, but not requiredProficiency with Microsoft Office and general office systems
