nWe are pleased to announce the relocation of our corporate headquarters to Greenway Plaza’s Phoenix Tower in Houston’s Upper Kirby neighborhood.
nThe Escrow Officer is responsible for preparing all closing documents and ensuring all loan and contract paperwork is signed correctly and notarized. The Escrow Officer is also responsible for communicating effectively with clients to provide updates and answer any questions or concerns. There is no book of business required, as this is a Builder Escrow Officer position.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities
nnCommunicate with Salesperson to schedule closing.
nCommunicate with Lender to assure a smooth closing.
nPrepare all closing documents for lenders and title company.
nCalculate and collect fees, taxes, and all other payments from buyers.
nEnsure loan and contract paperwork is signed correctly and notarized.
nReview Lender’s Instructions and comply.
nSend CD (Closing Disclosure) to Lender and Seller for approval.
nClose transaction.
nPrepare Final Lender Package.
nCommunicate effectively with clients to provide updates and answer any questions or concerns.
nEnsure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies.
nAbility to balance high volume of closings (average of 40-45).

nnHigh school diploma or equivalent required.
nRequires at least 4 years of escrow experience.
nDemonstrated computer skills including a working knowledge of MS Office products, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.
