Job description

Now Hiring a : Escrow Officer | Residential & Commercial Real Estate Transactions - (Direct Hire)

Location: San Diego County, CA

Base Salary: $57,000-$77,000/year base

Schedule: Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-5:00 PM

Education Requirements

High School Diploma or GED required.

Valid California Escrow License or certification, if applicable.

Additional training in escrow, title, real estate, mortgage lending, or related fields preferred.

Experience Requirements

Minimum 3+ years of direct Escrow Officer experience managing residential and/or commercial real estate transactions.

Proven ability to independently manage escrow files from opening through closing and funding.

Must have an established book of business generating a minimum of $30K-$40K annually .

Strong network of local real estate agents, lenders, brokers, attorneys, and industry professionals preferred.

Experience reviewing title reports, resolving title defects, liens, encumbrances, and other closing issues.

Excellent communication, customer service, and relationship-building skills.

Physical Capabilities

Ability to sit, stand, and work at a computer for extended periods throughout the day.

Occasionally lift and carry up to 20 lbs.

Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.

Ability to manage multiple transactions and deadlines in a fast-paced office environment.

Professional written and verbal communication skills.

Job Duties

Manage end-to-end escrow transactions, including opening files, preparing documents, coordinating closings, and disbursing funds.

Serve as the primary liaison between buyers, sellers, lenders, real estate agents, and attorneys.

Order and review title reports while resolving title defects, liens, and encumbrances.

Prepare, review, and execute escrow and closing documents accurately and in compliance with regulations.

Conduct client signing appointments and explain escrow processes and closing paperwork.

Develop and maintain strong referral relationships with real estate agents, lenders, and business partners.

Ensure all transactions comply with company policies and state and federal regulations.

Successfully complete client-required background check and drug screening.
