Escrow Processor – Sullivan OfficeReports to: Closing Team SupervisorPurpose: Facilitate Real Estate Escrow Closing TransactionsThis is a full-time position responsible for day-to-day examination of title and legal documents and must pay close attention to details. Use logical thought processes while problem solving, take initiative to plan and prioritize work, and be adaptable to changing work requirements. Requires an understanding of technology, a pleasant phone demeanor, and clear writing skills. Must demonstrate enthusiasm, positive attitude and complete assignments in a cooperative manner.ResponsibilitiesThis position adds value to Hillsboro Title Company by having responsibilities, which include, but are not limited to the following:Accurately placing, processing, and prioritizing title ordersEfficiently managing workflow and office closing schedulePerforming general reception duties including, but not limited to: Answering phones, professionally greeting customers, responding to customer and coworker emails in a prompt and courteous mannerReviewing title commitments and gathering information from outside sources based on the information on the commitment and other necessary requirements for closingFiling, scanning and copyingProtecting nonpublic customer informationWillingly performing other clerical duties as part of the company teamSuccess CriteriaThe successful execution of this position should result inSatisfied homeowners, builders, real estate agents, attorneys and loan officersRepeat customersStrong and cohesive work relationship between the office processor and closerJob satisfaction and opportunities for advancementQualificationsAbility to initiate a good customer service experienceAbility to communicate clearly with others outside and within our industry both verbally and in writingStrong problem solving skillsAbility to organize and prioritizeComputer literacy including a proficiency in Word and ExcelGeneral clerical skillsAbility to study and pass a formal licensing test at a testing centerIn this position the candidate will have an opportunity to reassure and guide our customers through a process they may fear and not understand.
