Join our client as a High School ESL Teacher specializing in Social Studies within a bilingual program. This full-time, contract role supports students for the school year at a school in Cook County, Illinois. The position is on-site, requiring dedication to fostering an inclusive learning environment that promotes language development and academic achievement for diverse student populations. The role begins on September 22, 2026, and continues through May 28, 2027, with a schedule aligned to standard school hours.

ESL Teacher - High School Social Studies Bilingual Responsibilities :
Deliver engaging social studies lessons that integrate bilingual instruction methods to support language acquisition.
Develop and implement lesson plans aligned with curriculum standards, ensuring differentiation for English language learners.
Monitor and assess student progress, providing feedback and adapting instruction to meet individual needs.
Foster an inclusive classroom environment that encourages cultural awareness and language development.
Collaborate with colleagues to plan interdisciplinary activities and share best practices.
ESL Teacher - High School Social Studies Bilingual Qualifications :
Valid Illinois teaching license with ESL or bilingual endorsement.
Proven experience teaching social studies and working with English language learner students.
Strong communication skills in both English and the bilingual language of instruction.
Ability to develop engaging and differentiated lesson plans.
