ESL Processing Operator, ON, Dairy - Dacula | Publix Super Markets, Inc.ESL Processing Operator, ON, Dairy - DaculaAtlanta, GAUtilizing extreme attention to detail to monitor the complex Extended Shelf Life (ESL) system to ensure all critical values are met and adjusting as needed (steam pressures, water flows, instrumentation, etc.)Processing fluid products at high temperatures in a hygienic and tightly controlled environment and preparing them for packagingUsing recipes to blend raw materials in batch tanks accurately before processingPulling product samples and testing for accuracyOperating, maintaining and troubleshooting CIP systems, COP systems and sterilization activities of the processing equipmentCleaning equipment and maintaining a sanitary work environmentCleaning, sterilizing and operating ESL/UHT and associated equipment (which includes homogenizers, tanks, CIP system, sterile air system, sterile lines and valves)Reassembling equipment after cleaning and ensuring it is safe and sterileEnsuring food safety and quality by following Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Complying with all safety regulations and guidelinesAccurately recording daily production data and regulatory information and verifying they are within the established control limits for proper operationMaintaining a sterile environment by performing advanced repairs, preventative maintenance and major mechanical adjustments as neededOther duties as assigned.Must be at least 18 years oldMust demonstrate excellent work habits in line with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMPs)Ability to obtain a license and operate a forkliftMust demonstrate safe working habitsMust be able to lift 50 poundsMust be able to learn and perform all positionsMust be able to work in a fast-paced environmentMust have good human relations skills (the ability to work well with others and be a team player)Must have basic computer skillsMust have basic mechanical skillsMust be able to climb laddersMust be able to organize and prioritize workMust be able to multi-task by handling more than one priority at a timeMust be able to work any shift, nights, weekends, holidays, and extended hoursMust have excellent attendance and punctualityMust be willing to assist other team members in other areasMust be able to perform steady and productive work for an extended period of timeMust be able to work efficiently with little or no supervisionMust be able to follow detailed written and verbal instructionsMust possess basic math skillsMust be able to communicate effectivelyMust show enthusiasm, initiative, and pride in workMust show commitment to Publix and our mission.Hours of Work: 10:00pm - 6:30am; rotating daysWork Environment: Temperatures range from 60 to 70 degrees. Wet and slippery.Frequency of Pay: WeeklyMinimum Base Pay: 23.65Maximum Base Pay: 32.65Potential Annual Base Pay: 49,192 - 67,912To reward associates for their contributions to the company for the calendar year, Publix provides a Holiday Bonus in November. In the first year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to 15 hours of pay, and in the second year of continuous employment the bonus is equal to one week's pay if associate remains employed through issue date of the bonus check. In subsequent years, the bonus is equal to two weeks' pay.Other Compensation Information: Weekend Differential: A $2.00 per hour weekend differential is paid to associates for hours worked between 12:00 a.m. Saturday through 11:59 p.m. Sunday.
