Job Description Job Description About the Role: RLGC Law Group, PLLC is looking for a detail-oriented and dedicated Estate Planning Paralegal to join their team in Latham, NY. Responsibilities: Draft and prepare estate planning documents including wills, trusts, powers of attorney, and healthcare directives
Assist attorneys with trust administration, probate filings, and estate settlement matters
Communicate directly with clients to gather information, provide updates, and ensure a smooth client experience
Organize and maintain client files, legal documents, and case management systems
Conduct legal research related to estate planning, tax law, and probate procedures
Coordinate document execution, notarization, and proper filing with courts or government agencies
Support attorneys in preparing for client meetings and consultations
Requirements: Prior paralegal experience in estate planning, trusts, probate, or elder law preferred
Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies or a related field, or equivalent experience
Paralegal certificate from an ABA-approved program is a plus
Strong knowledge of estate planning documents, terminology, and legal procedures
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with a client-focused demeanor
Proficiency in legal case management software and Microsoft Office Suite
Highly organized, detail-oriented, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
