nBlue Moon Estate Sales of Central Pennsylvania is looking for a passionate and detail-oriented Estate Sale Specialist to join our growing team in Lancaster, PA. nResponsibilities:
nMeet management at a newly engaged estates sale client's property
nReview, understand and support the goals of having an estate sale
nResearch, identify, and assist in pricing a wide variety of items including antiques, collectibles, furniture, jewelry, and household goods firearms, military memborabilia
nAssist clients and customers throughout the sale process with professionalism and empathy
nConduct inventory cataloging and photography for online listings and marketing materials
nVerify descriptions of the items within our proprietary app
nSeek out and connect with buyers who may be interested in specific items
nexamples, buyers of: Military memorabilia, pianos, musical instruments, trading cards, crystal, china, art, tools and etc.
nInvite and manage buyers to "preview" the items before the scheduled event.
nCoordinate with estate sale team members to ensure smooth setup, execution, and breakdown of sales
nMaintain knowledge of current market trends, resale values, and collectible categories
nCoordinate all efforts with the general manager
nRequirements:
nPrior experience in estate sales, antiques, resale, or a related field preferred
nKnowledge of antiques, vintage items, collectibles, or general household goods valuation
nExcellent customer service and interpersonal communication skills
nAbility to lift and move furniture and boxes (up to 50 lbs) during setup and breakdown
nReliable, punctual, and able to work weekends as estate sales typically run Friday–Sunday
nDetail-oriented with strong organizational and time management abilities
nComfortable using basic technology including smartphones, tablets, and point-of-sale systems

nWe are seeking candidates with a minimum of 1-3 years experience in some related work. That may include, antiques, auctions, flea markets and other.
nThe position will be compensated at $20.00/hr and a commission on the items sold.
nThe position is open for immediate placement
nThis franchise is independently owned and operated by a franchisee. Your application will go directly to the franchisee, and all hiring decisions will be made by the management of this franchisee. All inquiries about employment at this franchisee should be made directly to the franchise location, and not to Blue Moon Estate Sales Corporate.
