Job Title: Estimator at Autobody Shop

nWe are seeking a meticulous and experienced Estimator to join our reputable autobody shop. As an Estimator, you will play a crucial role in evaluating damaged vehicles and providing accurate cost estimates for repairs. Your expertise will assist in ensuring customer satisfaction, optimizing shop processes, and enhancing overall efficiency.
nKey Responsibilities:
n- Examine damaged vehicles and assess the extent of damage to determine repair needs.
n- Utilize latest estimating software and tools to produce detailed and accurate repair cost estimates.
n- Work closely with insurance adjusters to ensure that all estimates comply with industry standards and regulations.
n- Communicate effectively with customers to explain repair processes, timeframes, and cost estimates.
n- Coordinate with technicians and parts suppliers to ensure the availability of needed materials and to streamline repair processes.
n- Monitor repair work to ensure adherence to estimates and quality standards.
n- Assist in developing and maintaining relationships with insurance companies and customers.
n- Stay updated with the latest trends and methods in autobody repair to continually refine estimating techniques.
nQualifications:
n- Proven experience as an Estimator in an autobody repair environment.
n- Strong knowledge of vehicle construction, repair techniques, and estimating software.
n- Excellent analytical and arithmetic skills with a keen eye for detail.
n- Exceptional communication and customer service skills.
n- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently and work both independently and collaboratively.
n- Strong negotiation skills to work effectively with insurance adjusters.
