Job Summary
North Bay Mechanical is seeking a detail-oriented Commercial HVAC Estimator to join our growing team. In this role, you will accurately estimate costs, prepare competitive bids, and manage project budgets to drive successful, profitable outcomes. You will work on diverse commercial construction projects, leveraging your technical expertise to deliver excellence in every detail.

Responsibilities
Analyze Documents: Review and interpret complex construction drawings, blueprints, and technical specifications for commercial HVAC systems.
Build Estimates: Quantify material requirements and labor costs to develop detailed, accurate project estimates from initial concept to final bid submission.
Utilize Software: Leverage estimating software (e.g., QuoteSoft) and Microsoft Excel to build precise cost models and project budgets.
Collaborate & Negotiate: Work closely with clients, subcontractors, and suppliers to negotiate favorable pricing and secure competitive terms.
Control Costs: Identify project scope, potential field challenges, and strategic opportunities for cost savings.
Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of construction estimating experience, with a specific focus on commercial HVAC or mechanical systems.
Software Proficiency: Strong hands-on experience with HVAC estimating software (such as QuoteSoft) and advanced Microsoft Excel skills.
Technical Skills: Exceptional ability to read and interpret complex blue prints, mechanical drawings, and construction documents.

Setting: Ability to work full-time, at our office location.
Compensation:
$70,000 - $100,000 per year, relative to experieince
