Desk Estimator
$Our Desk Estimator prepares scopes and estimates for reconstruction and emergency services on site, scoping losses, creating estimates using Xactimate software, and securing the project. The Desk Estimator’s primary responsibilities are to create estimates using estimating software, for reconstruction and emergency services from 3D scans and Project Director scopes. however, the selected candidate should expect to work primarily in-office initially for training, onboarding, and team integration purposes.
Ability to free up project managers to focus on active jobs
Estimate each loss using a 3rd party estimating software, Xactimate or Symbility (as required).
Ensure each project achieves a minimum gross profit margin as determined by company standards.
Communicate and document any change orders and insurance supplements.
Knowledge of technology (iPhone, iPad, computer)
Customer Service Skills
Ability to create documents
Ability to answer and communicate with customers over the phone and face to face
Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent industry experience
Customer Service experience
Must be able to communicate and converse with customers over the phone and face to face
Constantly operates a computer
