Turndown Service AttendantThe Lodge at Whitefish Lake, one of Montana's AAA Four Diamond resorts, is seeking a Turndown Service Attendant to work with our Housekeeping Team. You'll assist in our evening turndown service ready and refresh the quarters for guests to retire. All employees receive perks of $50 rooms at any of our properties, and discount rates at our spa, restaurant, and retail.The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, an Averill Hospitality Resort, is Montana's premier lakefront, leisure and outdoor activity destination. The Lodge is a 4-star hotel located only 5 minutes from downtown Whitefish and 10 minutes from Whitefish Ski Resort. The Hotel is one of several family-owned businesses under Averill Hospitality.Principle Responsibilities and Position Purpose:The Turndown Service Attendant is responsible for preparing guest rooms for the evening by providing a clean, comfortable, and welcoming environment. This position plays an important role in delivering exceptional guest service and ensuring each guest enjoys a relaxing stay. During periods of lower occupancy, the Turndown Service Attendant will assist other areas of the Housekeeping Department as needed.Schedule:Peak Season: Regular shift is 5:45 PM to 9:00 PM.Slow Season: Scheduled hours may vary based on hotel occupancy and business needs.Additional hours may be offered when operational needs require extra support.Essential Duties and ResponsibilitiesTurn Down Service:Perform evening turn-down service in assigned guest rooms according to hotel standards.Refresh guest rooms by:Making bed for the evening.Refreshing towels and amenities as needed.Emptying trash if necessary.Straightening the room and ensuring a clean, welcoming appearance.Turning on appropriate lighting and creating a comfortable atmosphere.Reporting maintenance issues or room concerns promptly.Maintain guest privacy and security while working in occupied rooms.Deliver exceptional guest service by responding politely and professionally to guest requests.Additional Responsibilities (When Turndown Volume Is Low)When occupancy does not require a full turndown schedule, employees may be assigned to assist with other Housekeeping Department duties, including:Cleaning public areas.Completing deep cleaning projects.Assisting in the laundry department.Restocking housekeeping supplies and linen.Supporting room attendants or housepersons as directed.Performing other housekeeping-related duties assigned by management.QualificationsPrevious housekeeping or hospitality experience is preferred but not required.Ability to work independently and efficiently.Strong attention to detail.Ability to maintain guest confidentiality and professionalism.Good communication and teamwork skills.Ability to stand, walk, bend, lift, and perform physical work throughout the shift.Physical RequirementsAbility to lift up to 30 pounds.Ability to push, pull, bend, stoop, and stand for extended periods.Ability to work in a fast-paced environment while maintaining quality standards.ExpectationsMaintain a positive and professional attitude.Follow all hotel policies, safety procedures, and housekeeping standards.Report maintenance concerns lost and found items, and safety hazards immediately.Be flexible and willing to assist other housekeeping operations based on business needs.The Lodge at Whitefish Lake, part of Averill Hospitality, offers full time, year-round employment, competitive compensation, and a full benefits package including paid holidays, paid time off, insurance, 401(k) match, and company discounts at Averill Hospitality properties.Averill Hospitality provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state, or local laws.
