Evening RN Supervisor-Nursing Home
Located in Auburn, NY
Salary: $96K - $100K Annually; Based on experience
Qualifications of the RN Nurse Manager-Nursing Home:
Current, active Registered Nurse (RN) license in New York State
Minimum one (1) year nursing experience ; long-term care experience preferred
Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
Ability to supervise staff across a facility without unit-based management
Knowledge of NYS and Federal nursing home regulations
Effective communication and leadership skill
Responsibilities of the NurseManager-Nursing Home:
Orient clinical staff to their job responsibilities and provide leadership in clinical problem solving.
Nurse will evaluate and schedule in-services/training as needed.
Ensure department activities and records are in adherence to AAAHC and various licensing and regulatory requirements.
Provide opportunities for professional development and training to improve nursing skills and knowledge.
Address staffing concerns, handle disciplinary actions, and mediate conflicts.
