About the Role
Our client is looking for a highly organized and proactive Event Catering Manager to oversee operations remotely, supporting events across various locations including Welkom . This is a unique opportunity for a seasoned professional to manage catering logistics, client relations, and team coordination from a distance. You will be instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of events by liaising with clients, vendors, and on‑site teams, maintaining the company's high standards of service and delivery, and driving operational efficiency through effective planning and communication.
Key Responsibilities
Manage and coordinate all aspects of event catering logistics, including staffing, menu execution, and client satisfaction, from a remote setting.
Serve as the primary point of contact for clients, addressing inquiries, managing expectations, and ensuring smooth communication throughout the event planning process.
Liaise effectively with on‑site catering teams, chefs, and venue staff to ensure seamless event execution and adherence to standards.
Develop and manage event budgets, ensuring profitability while meeting client needs and delivering exceptional value.
Implement and refine catering operational procedures to enhance efficiency, quality, and customer experience across all events.
Requirements
Proven experience in event management, catering management, or a related hospitalityrole.
Exceptional organizational, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a proven ability to manage remotely.
Strong understanding of catering operations, food safety standards, and event planning principles.
Proficiency in using project management and communication software for remote collaboration.
