Event Operations Manager

You enjoy bringing people and practical details together. You can brief a team, confirm arrangements with a venue, and make a sensible decision when something changes.
We’re hiring an Event Operations Manager in Tampa to coordinate event logistics and oversee assigned activities from preparation through pack-down. You’ll work with colleagues, suppliers, and venue contacts to keep delivery organized and attendees supported.
What You’ll Lead
Prepare event schedules, staffing assignments, and operational checklists.
Confirm venue access, equipment, materials, and supplier arrangements.
Brief team members on responsibilities and event timings.
Oversee setup and check that assigned areas are ready.
Resolve routine logistical issues and escalate concerns appropriately.
Track resources, approved expenses, and post-event actions.
Bring Experience in Getting Things Done
Events, venue operations, hospitality supervision, or team leadership experience is helpful. You may have coordinated functions, organized shift teams, or managed the practical arrangements behind a busy service.
A specific degree isn’t required. We’re looking for clear communication, strong preparation, sound judgment, and confidence coordinating people against deadlines.
Take Responsibility With Support
You’ll receive guidance on company procedures, reporting expectations, and venue requirements while working alongside the wider management team.
This role includes attendance at local event venues. Event schedules and any evening or weekend requirements will be discussed during recruitment.
