nPOSITION: PART-TIME EVENT SECURITY GUARD
nREPORTS TO: Security/Garage Manager
nFLSA STATUS: Hourly – Non Exempt
nSummary
nProvide security protection to employees, staff, and property. Regular attendance in conformance with the policies established by ASM Global is essential to the successful performance of this position.
nEssential Duties and Responsibilities include the following. Other duties may be assigned.
nnnProvide a guest services level of care for employees, clients, and patrons.
n
nnCarry out emergency, safety, and security programs and procedures when necessary.
n
nnPerform foot and vehicle patrols of property. Inspect and report on facility’s compliance with safety and security procedures.
n
nnInvestigate and report incidents including damage/injury to the facility or employees.
n
nnAssure POD compliance on patrols.
n
nnBy direction, provide assignments and permitting for temporary parking.
n
nnBy direction, issue facility ID badges.
n
nnWork extended or irregular hours including nights, weekends, and holidays, as needed.
n
nnOther duties as assigned.
n
n nWorking Conditions
nnnPosition requires walking and climbing stairs within the facility and grounds
n
nnPosition primarily works inside and outside the facility, with some exposure to adverse weather and working conditions.
n
nnMay be exposed to physical confrontations.
n
nnShift work as assigned.
n
n nKnowledge, Skills and Qualifications
nnnDemonstrated interpersonal skills.
n
nnAbility to lift and carry 50 lbs.
n
nnAbsence of felony or violent crime convictions.
n
nnPossession of a valid Louisiana driver’s license.
n
nnApplicants must pass criminal background check.
