Job Title: Event Staff Security
Department: Events
Reports to: Events Supervisor
JOB SUMMARY
Bristol Motor Speedway is looking for enthusiastic, hardworking and guest service-oriented people to join the Security and Public Safety department. This is an event-time position meaning security staff will only work during events dependent upon staffing needs for each event. Compensation is based on qualifications.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILL PREFERENCES:
Conduct security inspections as directed
Circulate among fans, visitors and employees to preserve order and protect property
Stay on post as instructed
Considerable communication and interpersonal skills
Document all incidents for further investigation in the future
POSITION REQUIREMENTS: 18 years of age or older.
Currently affiliated in good standing with a law enforcement agency
Friendly and personable, excellent customer service skills required
A team player, must work well with others
Previous security and public safety experience desired
Leadership skills desired
Some knowledge of general security standards helpful
