Job description
EVS WorkerThe Staff Pad has partnered with a reputed healthcare organization in Hamilton Texas to hire dependable EVS workers. In this role you will be required to help maintain a clean, safe, and welcoming environment for patients, visitors, and staff by thoroughly cleaning and sanitizing assigned areas, safely handling biohazardous materials, and ensuring compliance with OSHA, infection control, and hospital standards. This role also includes participation in cross-training and providing Environmental Services support across various departments and facility locations.Schedule: Full-Time | Part-TimeKey ResponsibilitiesClean and sanitize patient rooms, bathrooms, nursing stations, utility rooms, exam rooms, and common areasMaintain floors, carpets, furniture, fixtures, and surfaces through sweeping, mopping, vacuuming, and disinfectingRestock supplies and ensure patient rooms ready for new admissionsRemove waste and trash to designated collection areasFollow cleaning schedules and infection control standardsComplete required documentation and provide excellent customer service and patient supportPerform other duties as assigned as needed to support operations and patient careAdhere to all organizational policies, behavioral standards and employee guidelinesWhat You Are Looking ForHigh school diploma or equivalent preferredAbility to read, write, and follow instructionsEntry-level position; no prior experience requiredStrong attention to detail with the ability to complete required documentationCommitment to excellent customer service and patient care standardsPhysical RequirementsAbility to stand and walk for extended periodsLift up to 50 lbs. and transport up to 300 lbs. on cartsPush, pull, bend, stoop, kneel, crawl, reach, and climb ladders as neededSafely operate heavy floor care and cleaning equipment and machineryWhat You Can ExpectPaid Time Off & HolidaysHealth & Supplemental InsuranceDirect DepositFitness Center MembershipEducation ReimbursementRetirement PlanIf you are dependable, detail-oriented, and committed to maintaining high standards of cleanliness and safety, we encourage you to apply.
