About the Department:
The Antonin Scalia Law School strives to be a national leader in legal education; applying tools of economics and other social sciences to the study of legal doctrine, process, and institutions. The Law School prepares students to practice law in a broad range of public and private sector organizations within the Commonwealth and around the country. In addition, it produces academic scholarship that expands society's understanding of law and legal institutions with a special focus on using economic tools and methods to do so.
About the Position:
The Law School is seeking part-time Exam Proctors to assist with exam administration.
This is a part-time position (up to 29 hours/week) with the ability to work the following shifts from December 1, 2026 to December 16, 2026 and/or April 26, 2027 to May 11, 2027.
Monday-Friday 10:30am to 4:30pm or 4:30pm to 10:30pm
Saturday: 10:30am to 4:30pm.
Responsibilities:
Administer tests and exams to Scalia Law students;
Follow established procedures to maintain test security and confidentiality;
Provide instructions to test-takers and answering questions related to the testing process;
Monitor the test-taking process to ensure compliance with testing policies and procedures;
Report any suspicious behavior or violations of testing policies;
Collect and return test materials to the appropriate personnel;
Communicate any issues or concerns with the testing process to the appropriate personnel; and
Maintain accurate records related to testing and test-takers.
Required Qualifications: High school diploma or equivalent;
Experience in a fast-paced environment;
Comfortable working in a diverse environment;
Strong communication skills and ability to provide clear instructions to test-takers;
Ability to handle sensitive and confidential information;
Excellent attention to detail and the ability to follow established procedures to ensure test security and confidentiality;
Professional customer service and collaboration skills;
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite; and
Physical Requirements: Ability to sit for extended periods of time;
Ability to bend, stoop, and reach; and
Ability to lift and move objects up to 25 lbs.
