Job description

This fully remote Execution Trader — Electronic Markets opening serves Memphis, TN and will improve how investment decisions reach electronic markets while controlling live-order risk. Applicants must be based in the Memphis, TN area. The position adds Central Time oversight of market flow, exception handling, and post-close investigation.

Compensation and Benefits

Base salary: $170,000–$245,000 USD, based on experience

Work arrangement: Fully remote; applicants must be based in the Memphis, TN area

You will identify any assumption that remains untested after both checks. The review closes only after another specialist can reproduce the key checks and identify the evidence behind the outcome for electronic execution, order exceptions, transaction-cost analysis, venue review, and broker accountability.

Responsibilities

Oversee electronic execution and exception handling

Analyze implementation shortfall, impact, and venue outcomes

Develop broker and algorithm scorecards

Coordinate incident response with engineering and risk

Own live orders, implementation shortfall, venue outcomes, and execution exceptions during Central Time oversight of market flow, exception handling, and post-close investigation.

Required Qualifications

Direct electronic-trading or execution-analytics experience

Knowledge of order types, auctions, and U.S. market structure

Strong SQL and post-trade analytical ability

Preferred Qualifications

Experience with broker algorithms, venue analysis, and best-execution review

Ability to act quickly while preserving complete order and incident records

Experience collaborating across time zones while maintaining the operating coverage assigned to the Memphis, TN opening.
