Executive Assistant & Administrator (Part Time)Metro Detroit | Approximately 20 Hours per WeekWe are seeking an exceptionally capable, highly organized Executive & Personal Assistant to support a busy executive who owns and manages multiple companies and serves on several boards.This is a dynamic, hands-on position for someone who can confidently manage responsibilities across every area of the executive's professional and personal life. Tasks will range from running personal errands and coordinating travel to organizing schedules, managing paperwork, and assisting with company invoices.No two days will look exactly the same. The ideal candidate is a self-starter who anticipates needs, solves problems independently, communicates openly, and takes complete ownership of their responsibilities.Key ResponsibilitiesManage professional and personal calendars, appointments, and remindersCoordinate domestic and international travel, including flights, accommodations, transportation, and itinerariesHandle personal errands, purchases, returns, reservations, and household-related tasksAssist with company invoices, receipts, expense tracking, and basic administrative accounting tasksOrganize documents, files, records, and correspondence across multiple businesses and board commitmentsHelp prioritize competing requests, deadlines, meetings, and projectsCommunicate with employees, vendors, board members, business partners, and personal contactsResearch options, gather information, obtain quotes, and present clear recommendationsTrack outstanding tasks and follow through until each item is fully completedIdentify problems and proactively develop practical solutionsHandle sensitive personal and business information with complete discretionProvide support wherever needed, including tasks that may fall outside a traditional job descriptionThe Ideal CandidateExceptionally organized, resourceful, and detail-orientedA true self-starter who does not need to be micromanagedAble to anticipate needs and stay several steps aheadComfortable managing multiple priorities in a fast-moving environmentA strong problem solver who uses sound judgment and takes initiativeOpen, honest, and direct in their communicationDependable, responsive, and committed to following throughComfortable shifting between executive-level responsibilities and everyday personal errandsProfessional and confident when communicating with a wide variety of peopleTechnologically capable and comfortable learning new systemsExperienced with scheduling, travel planning, invoices, receipts, and general business administrationWilling and able to work locally throughout the Metro Detroit areaAble to maintain strict confidentiality and professional boundariesPosition DetailsApproximately 20 hours per weekPart-time position based in Metro DetroitCombination of remote administrative work and in-person responsibilitiesSome flexibility in scheduling will be requiredReliable transportation is necessaryCompensation will be based on experience and qualificationsThis position is best suited for someone who enjoys creating order, solving problems, and becoming an indispensable right hand to a highly active executive. We are looking for someone who sees what needs to be done, takes initiative, communicates clearly, and follows every task through to completion. Please include an example of a time you independently solved a complicated problem for an executive, employer, or client.Required Qualifications:Must be 18 years of age or older and pass pre-employment screening.Regular and dependable attendance.Must possess a valid driver's license with a clean driving record and reliable transportation.Use private vehicle for work-related tasks on occasion.Flexible schedule requiring availability for weekends, holidays, early mornings, evenings.Physical ability to work outdoors in adverse weather conditions and perform labor-intensive tasks, including lifting and moving up to 70 pounds.Must be able to be on your feet for several hours.Ability to walk, stand, sit, kneel, stoop, crawl, twist, reach above head, pull, bend, and climb stairs and ladders.Ability and willingness to work in different locations-homes, or also our second location in Port Clinton, OH.Necessary SkillsA team player who collaborates effectively with colleagues across multiple departments.Excellent communication skills and the ability to communicate effectively with team members.Strong decision-making and problem-solving skills.Highly organized and capable of functioning independently.Ability to manage multiple priorities, projects, and animal care needs simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.Strong attention to detail.Proficiency with Microsoft Suite.Office Management and Organization Skills.Willingness to learn new skills and adapt to the company's unique needs.What We Offer:Opportunities for further education and development.Team member appreciation days and parties.Flexible ScheduleAccess to our Amusement Park in Ohio.
