Job description

Executive Assistant II (RP-N)Are you a highly organized professional who enjoys supporting senior leaders and helping teams operate at their best? As an Executive Assistant within Roswell Park's Information Technology (IT) department, you'll play a key role in supporting executive leadership and helping drive the day-to-day operations that enable technology teams to serve the organization effectively.This position goes beyond traditional administrative support. You'll serve as a trusted partner to senior IT leaders, helping manage priorities, coordinate communications, maintain confidential information, and ensure business operations run smoothly. Your attention to detail, professionalism, and ability to anticipate needs will directly contribute to the success of both the IT department and the organization as a whole.This is an excellent opportunity for someone who thrives in a fast-paced environment, enjoys working with a variety of stakeholders, and takes pride in keeping people, projects, and priorities organized.The starting annual salary for this position is $67,119 and this can include a full comprehensive benefits package.Provide high-level administrative support to senior leaders within the Information Technology departmentManage calendars, correspondence, documents, records, and files with accuracy and discretionServe as a primary point of contact by answering calls, greeting visitors, and directing inquiriesCoordinate and distribute communications, reports, presentations, and other materialsSupport meetings, projects, and departmental initiatives by helping keep priorities on trackHandle sensitive and confidential information with professionalism and sound judgmentCollaborate with leaders, staff, and cross-functional teams across the organizationHelp streamline administrative processes and identify opportunities to improve efficiencyAdapt to changing priorities and support the evolving needs of executive leadershipContribute to a collaborative and team-oriented office environmentWe're looking for someone who is:Exceptionally organized and detail-orientedProfessional, approachable, and service-orientedComfortable supporting senior leaders and building strong working relationshipsSkilled at balancing multiple priorities and deadlinesAble to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgmentAn effective communicator with strong written and verbal communication skillsProactive, resourceful, and able to work independentlyAdaptable and comfortable navigating a dynamic environmentCollaborative and committed to helping others succeedAt Roswell Park, every role contributes to a meaningful mission: to eliminate cancer's grip on humanity. Associate's degree and the equivalent of five (5) years of full-time secretarial or related experience; or2. High School diploma or High School Equivalency diploma and the equivalent of six (6) years of full-time secretarial or related experience.NOTE: Degrees must be conferred by an accredited school, college, or university, or by an institution recognized by Roswell Park Comprehensive Cancer Center and/or Health Research Incorporated as adhering to acceptable educational standards.
