Job description
LHH Recruitment Solutions is searching for an Executive Assistant for a contract-to-hire opportunity in the West End of Richmond, VA. This is primarily an in-office role. The Executive Assistant will report directly to the CEO and support C-Suite leadership. This role requires someone who is proactive, highly organized, adaptable, and comfortable supporting a very active executive with a demanding schedule. The ideal candidate will have prior experience supporting C-suite leaders, coordinating board-related materials and meetings, and assisting with high-level administrative priorities.
Key Responsibilities
• Provide daily administrative and executive support to the CEO
• Manage schedules, calendars, meetings, and competing priorities
• Coordinate communication, follow-up, and administrative tasks across departments
• Assist with board meeting support, including preparing materials, coordinating logistics, and tracking follow-up items
• Coordinate off-site meetings, events, and related logistics as needed
• Support a fast-paced office with a hands-on, flexible approach
• Maintain professionalism, confidentiality, and sound judgment when handling sensitive information
• Assist with office and corporate administrative needs as the organization continues to grow
Qualifications
• Prior experience supporting senior executives or C-suite leadership required
• Board support experience, including meeting preparation, materials coordination, and follow-up, strongly preferred
• Strong organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills
• Ability to work well in a fast-paced, evolving office environment
• Comfortable working with a demanding executive and shifting priorities
• Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite required
• Strong computer skills and ability to learn new systems quickly
