Executive Assistant, SVP Deputy General CounselHP's Legal team is responsible for all of HP's legal matters, including government relations, brand security, trust & privacy, trade, enterprise operations, intellectual property, ethics, compliance, and legal counsel representation in every region. We want to find, grow, and keep the very best employees in the industry by valuing differences, offering amazing careers, and having fun.We are seeking an Executive Assistant for the SVP & Deputy General Counsel for Trust & Privacy, Trade and Enterprise Operations Legal.Responsibilities:Provide exemplary administrative support to the Deputy General Counsel for Trust & Privacy, Trade, and Enterprise Operations LegalManages calendar for the Leadership Team, including meeting prioritization and resolving calendaring conflicts seamlesslyWorks closely with other Executive Assistants to ensure smooth running of all calendars; on occasions, works with L1 Executive Leadership Team to align meetings as neededEnsures all travel-related needs are met, and any issues are addressed as soon as possibleCompletes expense reports in a timely and efficient manner, while ensuring accuracyAssists in planning and scheduling meetings – both large and small - for the Trust & Privacy, Trade, and Enterprise Operations Legal Organization. May include travel, hotel bookings, and ground transportationUnderstands and ensures adherence to HP policies and procedures, including those related to travel and expensesProvides leadership and partnership to other Assistants in Legal to ensure alignment and a consistent experienceBuilds a strong network to ensure work is completed in a timely and accurate mannerWorks on assignments that are complex in nature and require considerable judgment, initiative, and technical/specialized knowledge to resolve problems and/or develop recommended solutionsCompletes work with minimal supervision/directionType of Experience Needed:Ability to work independentlyStrong PowerPoint skills (Mandatory)Ability to run meetings with high-level executivesStrong time management and ability to meet deadlinesExcellent verbal and written communication skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to multitaskStrong problem-solving and decision-making skills neededAbility to act as a gatekeeper and escalate relevant information to executives as neededSkilled in the use of standard office equipment (e.g., copiers, collaboration tools such as Zoom and Teams, projectors).Ability to work effectively with minimal supervisionStrong interpersonal skills and relationship buildingAbility to treat confidential information with appropriate discretionExceptional attention to detailIntermediate or Advanced with Microsoft Office Suite and communication toolsAbility to perform under pressureNotary certification preferredEducation Required:High school graduate; two years or more of college-level education highly preferred.Typically requires a minimum of 7+ years of general legal experience, or an equivalent combination of experience and college-level educationThe pay range for this position is $32 to $38 USD per hour (applies to United States of America candidates only).
