Executive Assistant To Interior DesignerLocation: Washington, District Of Columbia Category: Administrative & ClericalWe are looking for a highly organized, proactive, and design-savvy Personal Assistant to support a busy Interior Designer in both day-to-day operations and project execution. This role blends administrative support with project management and hands-on involvement in the interior design process—perfect for someone who thrives in dynamic, design-driven environments.Key Responsibilities:Administrative & Personal SupportManage the designer's calendar, appointments, and travel arrangementsHandle email correspondence, calls, and follow-ups with clients, vendors, and collaboratorsRun errands, manage personal tasks, and help maintain daily efficiencyOrganize receipts, invoices, and expense reports.Create and maintain organized files for client projects, design plans, and material samplesDesign-related SupportAssist with sourcing furniture, materials, fabrics, and accessoriesRequest and track samples from vendors and showrooms, and get referencesAccompany designer on site visits, installations, or showroom appointments taking notes and creating action plansOversee deliveries, manage order tracking, and coordinate installations with vendors and contractorsQualifications:Previous experience as a personal assistant, design assistant, or admin in a creative field or law firm with high energy and upbeat attitude.Passion for interior design and a strong eye for aestheticsHighly organized, detail-oriented, and adaptableComfortable juggling multiple tasks and shifting prioritiesExcellent communication skills—professional, polished, and friendlyTech-savvy: Familiar with Google Workspace, Excel, Pinterest, Canva, and preferably Adobe Creative SuiteKnowledge of interior design platforms like Studio Designer a plusAbility to lift up to 25 lbs and assist during installs and deliveriesBonus Skills (Nice to Have):Interior design education or courseworkSocial media management or content creation experienceValid driver's licenseCompensation & Perks:Competitive hourly rate at $40/hourFlexible working hours (around 35+ hours/week)Creative, inspiring work environment with growth potentialOpportunities to get hands-on experience in high-end residential/commercial projectsJustinBradley is an EO employer – Veterans/Disabled and other protected categories
