Job description
About Brello Health
Brello Health is AHG's direct-to-consumer women's telehealth brand, delivering personalized, outcomes-driven care to patients nationwide. As one of AHG's fastest-growing brands, Brello operates with the speed and focus of a standalone company while drawing on the infrastructure, compliance, and resources of the broader group. Position Overview
This is a high-trust, high-leverage role supporting the Chief Executive Officer of Brello Health. The CEO's stakeholders span the Brello leadership team, clinical and commercial operators, marketing and growth partners, and the broader Allia Health Group executive team, all competing for the same finite calendar.
Your job is to make that work. You will control access to the CEO's time, decide what reaches her/him and what does not, keep the leadership team and its commitments moving, and ensure that nothing important falls through the cracks as Brello scales.
This role suits someone who is comfortable saying no on behalf of an executive, who moves before being asked, and who wants to grow their scope over time.
Key Responsibilities
Gatekeeping and Access
Own the CEO's calendar end to end, including scheduling, prioritization, conflict resolution, and rescheduling
Decide what earns a meeting, what can be resolved asynchronously, and what should be redirected to another owner, and communicate those decisions directly to requesters
Protect uninterrupted blocks for strategic work, and defend them under pressure
Triage inbound from the leadership team, internal teams, vendors, and external partners; escalate what is genuinely urgent and hold the rest
Prepare daily briefs, agendas, and pre-reads so the CEO walks into every meeting ready
Cross-Functional Coordination
Serve as the operating link between the CEO and the Brello leadership team, including clinical operations, marketing, growth, and customer experience
Track commitments and requests across functions so that competing priorities surface early rather than at the deadline
Act as a professional, discreet point of contact between the CEO and internal teams, vendors, and external partners
Build working relationships with the assistants and operators supporting other brand and AHG corporate leaders
Executive Representation and Thought Partnership
Attend select internal and external meetings on the CEO's behalf, representing her/his priorities and positions with authority and discretion
Capture decisions, commitments, and follow-ups from those meetings and brief the CEO on what matters, what needs her/his input, and what has been handled
Serve as a trusted sounding board for the CEO, offering candid, well-reasoned perspectives on operational, organizational, and business matters
Apply executive-level judgment to resolve issues independently when appropriate, and know when a decision must go back to the CEO
Team Cadence and Follow-Through
Run the operating rhythm of the leadership team, including agendas, pre-reads, structured notes, and action items with named owners and dates
Chase commitments to completion, including with people who do not report to you
Maintain project trackers, documentation, and status views for brand initiatives
Support OKR tracking and quarterly planning rhythms for Brello Health
Business Operations and Reporting
Support preparation of board materials, investor updates, and AHG corporate reporting on the CEO's behalf
Coordinate with AHG's finance, HR, legal, and People Ops functions on the CEO's behalf
Maintain a clean record of key decisions, approvals, and open items across the business
Assist with vendor research, tooling evaluations, and renewal calendars
Travel, Events, and Operations
Plan and book travel, including itineraries, accommodations, and expense reporting
Plan and coordinate company events, town halls, and all-hands meetings end to end, including logistics, agendas, speaker preparation, run-of-show, and post-event follow-up
Take on ad hoc special projects as assigned Qualifications
10+ years supporting a C-level or senior executive, ideally in healthcare, consumer, or a high-growth startup, with a track record of operating independently rather than task by task (exceptional candidates with less experience will be considered)
Extensive exposure to executive-level decision-making, with the business acumen and confidence to offer the CEO an informed point of view across a range of subject matters
Credibility and presence to represent a CEO in meetings with senior leaders, partners, and vendors
Demonstrated comfort managing access to a senior leader, including declining and redirecting requests without escalation
Experience working autonomously in a fast-moving, brand-driven organization
Proven experience planning and coordinating events and town halls, from small leadership offsites to company-wide meetings
Exceptional written and verbal communication skills in English
Outstanding organizational discipline, attention to detail, and follow-through under shifting priorities
High emotional intelligence, sound judgment, and a proven record of handling highly confidential business, commercial, and personnel information with absolute discretion
Strong, advanced-level proficiency in Excel (e.g., pivot tables, lookups, formulas, and building trackers and reports), plus fluency with Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, and modern project management tools
Demonstrated, hands-on use of AI tools (such as ChatGPT, Claude, or Gemini) in daily work to draft, summarize, research, and automate routine tasks
Your First 90 Days
Days 1 to 30: Full ownership of the calendar and inbox triage. You know the CEO's priorities and leadership team well enough to route most requests without asking.
Days 31 to 60: The leadership cadence runs on your structure. Action items are tracked and closed. You are anticipating conflicts before they land.
Days 61 to 90: You are surfacing problems the CEO has not seen yet, and you are trusted with the brand's most sensitive material. Growth
This role is designed to expand. As trust is established, the scope broadens into deeper involvement in planning, cross-functional programs, and independent ownership of workstreams on behalf of Brello Health. Location and Work Setup
This role is based in Houston, TX. It is fully remote, with occasional onsite visits to the Houston office for team and leadership events.
Given the sensitivity of the information involved, this role is subject to enhanced confidentiality obligations and background screening.
