Executive Chef - Luxury Resort
Location: Traverse City, MI
Salary: $100,000-115,000 + Bonus, PTO, 401(k), Benefits, Relocation Assistance & Potential Temporary Housing
I’m hiring on behalf of a leading resort in the Traverse City area for an experienced Executive Chef to oversee the culinary operation across multiple outlets, banquets and resort dining experiences.
This is a senior culinary leadership position responsible for driving culinary standards, menu development, kitchen operations, food quality, cost control and team development across a high-volume resort environment.
The ideal candidate will bring strong luxury resort, hotel, club or large-scale hospitality experience , with a proven track record leading multiple culinary outlets and developing high-performing teams.
Key responsibilities include:
Lead and develop the resort’s culinary team
Oversee daily kitchen operations across outlets and banquets
Drive menu development, culinary standards and consistency
Manage food costs, labor and operational performance
Partner with senior leadership to enhance the overall guest experience
Recruit, train and develop culinary talent
Ideal background:
Executive Chef or senior culinary leadership experience within a luxury resort, hotel, private club or similarly high-volume operation, with strong banquet and multi-outlet experience.
