Job description

Colibri provides premium nearshore software engineering teams to SMEs and larger businesses in the US from our Costa Rican hub. Our diverse and highly motivated teams have expertise across a broad spectrum of technologies, from full-stack web, mobile, to enterprise applications.

It is the first of what will be several hubs across South America serving the US market and is part of a wider network of nearshore investments across Europe.

Job Description

We have ambitious sales targets and are looking to expand our client base in the US. As a result we are looking to build our sales and partnership capability.

As the leader of our Client Partner Sales teams you will be an advocate and ambassador for the brand. You will be responsible for prospecting, the growth of client partnerships and closing new business. This position is an essential role that will focus on working with the Colibri leadership team to define a go to market strategy, build a sales pipeline, onboard supporting roles into the team and ultimately deliver the revenue targets of the business.

Generous base salary $15-20K per month

Commission plan (up to $250k a year) + equity

Qualifications

Responsibilities

Define a go to market strategy to best deploy / elevate the Colibri brand into the US market

Define the target plan for new clients, partners and go to market routes

Execute in building a Client Partner Sales function in the US for Colibri, including building a team function, support mechanisms and processes where required

Work with PR and Marketing teams to determine and deliver support strategies and collateral for the go to market plan and potential target client engagements (Direct marketing, Events and conferences, Advertising etc)

Work with Colibri teams to define solutions, proposals and contracts for engagements into prospective clients

Maintain and nurture existing client relationships to maximise value, support and manage the engagement to ensure we drive client advocacy and team happiness.

Must haves

5+ years experience in delivering new client partner sales from a cold start

Track record of building growth in sales in new and existing clients, a solid and proven track record of achieving revenue targets

Experience of building sales functions for organisations, particularly with nearshore, offshore software development/teams organisations

Experience of successful negotiation, contract creation and process

Flexibility, agility and thinking on your feet. We are a new business and we change often to best deliver the right solutions for what the market needs

Leadership and maturity, with C suite experience and existing relationships to hit the ground running

A great communicator, who is able to talk the clients language, whether that be technical solutions, product and service within a particular industry or executive level. You need to be able to demonstrate a track record

Thorough, informed and detailed where required. To maintain communications internally with Colibri, but importantly with client prospects to ensure consistency in communications and a professional approach

Nice to haves, but not essential

A software/technical background

Hubspot or similar CRM tools setup, maintaining experience

Spanish language write/speak
