Job Overview
A law firm seeks a mid-level Executive Compensation Associate in Irvine, CA. The ideal candidate will have 4 to 5 years of experience in executive and equity compensation, particularly in strategic and private equity M&A transactions. Experience with growth-stage technology and life sciences companies is preferred.
Duties
Evaluate and resolve executive pay and benefits issues during mergers and acquisitions.
Draft and advise on equity and cash incentive plans and executive employment agreements.
Prepare SEC-required compensation and benefits disclosures for securities filings.
Requirements
4-5 years of experience in executive compensation and benefits at a peer law firm.
Strong academic credentials.
Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
Ability to collaborate effectively within a team and manage individual responsibilities.
Admission to the State Bar of California is required.
Education
Juris Doctor (J.D.) degree.
Certifications
Admission to the State Bar of California.
