Department: Dean's Office BauerCollege

Description
Develops, plans, and implements strategic plan to build andstrengthen relationships between the College and targeted companieswith the goal of furthering the College's academic mission throughindustry partnerships. Fosters partnerships that enhance studentopportunities, applied research, and other strategic collaborationsaligned with the college's mission. This position is notresponsible for philanthropic fundraising.
Develops and implements a strategic operating plan for corporateengagement of business industry partners, ensuring a coordinated,high-quality engagement experience across the college. Targetedbusinesses will include major corporations to small businesses andcommunity organizations.
Works with the Dean and faculty to identify, prioritize andcoordinate partnership opportunities with companies. Collaborateswith academic departments, centers, faculty, Career Services, andcollege leadership to align corporate partnerships with academicpriorities and industry trends.
Works collaboratively with leadership in other college unitsincluding Career Services, Executive Education and Alumni Relationsto ensure that employer, alumni, and executive educationopportunities are shared across functions to maximize institutionalimpact, strengthen long-term partnerships, and present a unifiedCollege approach to external engagement.
Maintains a strategic annual business plan, ensuring thatmetrics are achieved and goals are met. Tracks partnershipactivity, analyzes outcomes, and maintains performance metricsrelated to corporate engagement, academic opportunities, andstrategic partnerships.
Develops long-term partnership strategies that create mutualvalue for both corporate partners and College through talentdevelopment, thought leadership, research collaboration, andindustry engagement.
Represents College at corporate, industry, alumni, and communityevents to strengthen the college's visibility and relationshipswith business leaders.
Provides strategic oversight of budgets, contracts, andpersonnel supporting corporate engagement initiatives, and reviewsproposals, reports, and other communications to ensure quality,accuracy, and alignment with organizational objectives.
Collaborates with college and university units to coordinate andalign corporate relationships while sustaining meaningfulengagement activities.
Performs other job duties as required.
Additional Position Information
Preferences: 10 years of applicable experience ina leadership role.
MQ: Education: Requires a thorough understanding of boththeoretical and practical aspects of an analytical, technical orprofessional discipline; or the basic knowledge of more than oneprofessional discipline. Knowledge of the discipline is normallyobtained through a formal, directly job-related 4 year degree froma college or university or an equivalent in-depth specializedtraining program that is directly related to the type of work beingperformed. Experience: Requires a minimum of five (5) years ofdirectly job-related experience.
