Nealy Pierce has been engaged to conduct an exclusive search for an Executive Director, Emergency Services with a nonprofit health system in Central Iowa. The Executive Director owns emergency services across three Emergency Departments, Observation, EMS and Life Flight Services with a team of 5 direct report Managers. The position reports directly to the Regional Chief Nursing Officer.
Three EDs, over 125k annual patient visits a year
A 40 bed adult Level I trauma center anchoring the operation
275+ FTEs, five managers, a seat at the Market CNO's table
Air and ground transport under the same leader
If you run ED and trauma today and want EMS and Life Flight in your portfolio, this is that step. Relocation to Central Iowa is required, and relocation assistance and a potential sign-on bonus are available.
Requirements: Active RN license, Master's degree, five or more years of acute care ED nursing leadership, Level I trauma emergency experience. Multi-hospital leadership preferred.
Compensation and benefits: Annual base up to $210,000 based on experience + annual bonus opportunity up to 20%, PTO bank upon hire, 401(k) employer contribution and match, employee-funded 457(b), HSA/FSA, medical, dental, vision, life and disability.
