Job description
SCEMSA is the regional emergency medical services agency serving Snohomish County, coordinating and advancing a high performing EMS system through regional collaboration, medical direction, quality management, protocol management,
credentialing, and education. The Executive Director serves as SCEMSA's chief executive, providing strategic leadership, fiscal
stewardship, organizational management, and regional collaboration across fire agencies, hospitals, public health, and elected officials. Learn more at
WHAT WE'RE LOOKING FOR
Visionary executive with demonstrated strategic thinking
Knowledge of EMS and prehospital healthcare systems
Experience in public-sector or healthcare administration
Politically astute; comfortable with governing boards
Financially disciplined; manages complex budgets
Exceptional relationship builder and consensus maker
Bachelor's degree required; master's preferred
FIRST-YEAR PRIORITIES
Complete a comprehensive organizational assessment
Strengthen relationships with the Board and regional
partners
Develop a multi-year strategic plan
Evaluate systems and identify operational improvements
Review long-term financial sustainability
Balance strategic vision with hands-on execution
