The primary responsibilities of this position are to provide strategic statistical leadership and drive scientific excellence across our clinical development portfolio. This is a high-impact leadership role supporting biotech and pharmaceutical clients from early development through regulatory submissions and approvals. The ideal candidate is a recognized statistical expert with deep experience in clinical development, a strong regulatory foundation, and a passion for leading teams and shaping business strategy.
Key Responsibilities
Serve as a senior statistical advisor to clients on clinical study design, development strategy, and regulatory submissions
Lead the development of innovative and robust data analysis strategies across programs
Provide strategic input into protocols and integrated analysis plans
Anticipate and solve complex statistical and methodological challenges
Stay at the forefront of regulatory guidance and emerging statistical approaches in drug development
Mentor and grow a high-performing statistics team
Provide strategic leadership for operations, quality oversight, and resource planning to ensure efficient and high-quality execution
Qualifications
Education
Doctoral degree in Statistics, Biostatistics, or Mathematics
Experience
20+ years of relevant experience in pharmaceutical, biotech, or clinical research organization (CRO) industry, including 10+ years of supervision experience.
Direct participation in design, planning, conduct, analyses, and reporting of clinical trials.
Direct participation in regulatory submission activities.
Skills
Deep understanding of statistical concepts and methodologies related to clinical trials and drug development
Working knowledge of SAS and/or R
Comprehensive knowledge of regulatory guidelines
Excellent organizational and project management skills
Highly motivated with excellent interpersonal and communication skills

Compensation Range: $230K - $300K
