Executive Director – Senior Living Community | Virginia
Are you a natural leader who blends emotional intelligence with financial acumen? A well-established and growing senior living organization in Virginia is searching for their next Executive Director to lead a thriving Assisted Living & Memory Care community.
As Executive Director, you'll be the culture ambassador and driving force behind the community — leading day-to-day operations while keeping residents, families and your team at the heart of every decision.
Core responsibilities include:
Owning the overall well-being, care and satisfaction of residents across the community
Coordinating care and services alongside nursing and care leads
Building, developing and retaining a high-performing team
Driving the community's financial performance, including NOI and budget accountability
Leading local marketing and outreach to support occupancy and staff recruitment
Acting as the primary point of contact for regulatory and licensing matters
Modelling company values and maintaining a strong, positive presence in the community
What's on offer:
Monthly performance bonus: up to $1,500 (NOI-based)
Quarterly KPI bonus: up to $2,000
Annual bonus: 5% of NOI earned above your community's stabilized target
$50,000 Longevity & Loyalty Bonus at 5 years of service
What we're looking for:
2-3+ years' leadership/supervisory experience in senior housing or assisted living
Demonstrated financial acumen and P&L / budget ownership
High emotional intelligence and genuine passion for service
A confident, hands-on leader who builds strong teams and drives results
Meets state regulatory requirements for licensed Assisted Living leadership
Post-secondary education required; degree preferred
Warm, outgoing and compassionate communication style
