Inside Sales Representative
for our
Batavia, NY
location. Do you have a passion for equipment? Engage with customers through effective communication by making outbound calls to potential customers
Maintain current customer relationships by communicating with them consistently
Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of current and prospective customers
Demonstrate the features and benefits of our products to customers
Research and qualify new leads to enhance your sales pipeline, aiming to close sales and meet or exceed sales targets
Participate in ongoing training and development programs to sharpen your skills
Maintain the equipment displays and showroom displays
Strong customer orientation – able to work with customers to understand their needs and overcome obstacles
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, specifically Excel and CRM software.
Excellent phone and cold calling skills
Exceptional customer service skills
Mechanical knowledge and experience within the industry are a plus but not required. The right candidate must have interest and enthusiasm to learn about equipment so they can connect our customers to the appropriate area within Alta Equipment and provide exceptional customer experience from start to finish.
Language Skills - Intermediate: Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals. Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or employees of the organization.
Ability to perform these operations using units of American money and weight measurement, volume, and distance.
Ability to deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
Regularly will work near moving mechanical parts, exposed to fumes or airborne particles
