Job description
Triple-S Steel is looking for a motivated Inside Sales Representative to join our Richmond, VA team. This role is a great opportunity for someone who enjoys building strong customer relationships, managing orders from quote to completion, and working closely with operations and outside sales to deliver excellent service.
In this role, you will support both new and existing customers by providing quotes, entering and tracking orders, coordinating deliveries, maintaining accurate customer information in CRM, and helping build a strong pipeline of sales opportunities.
Key Responsibilities:
Build and maintain relationships with current and prospective customers.
Prepare quotes and manage order execution from acceptance through completion.
Maintain accurate customer and sales activity information in CRM.
Coordinate with operations, dispatch, and outside sales to support timely delivery and customer satisfaction.
Make outbound sales calls and support pipeline development.
Communicate customer feedback, market information, and competitor insights to management.
What We’re Looking For:
Associate degree or equivalent Inside Sales experience.
Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills.
Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.
Proficiency with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, typing, and 10-key entry.
Team-oriented mindset with a focus on accuracy and follow-through.
