Hard-working and motivated, the successful candidate will bring a passion for providing the best patient care to the communities they serve.About This OfficeAbout Luna Point Dental Care:We are a goal-oriented, professional, and solution-focused teamOur brand new, beautiful office is located near the Publix Supermarket and Walmart at Nine MileWe offer a wide range of procedures, which creates a lot of variety in our dayOur practice is equipped with modern technology such as digital x-rays and charts and the iTero scannerWe offer work-life balance, growth and learning opportunities, and a comprehensive benefits packageEveryone who works at our office is a valuable part of our teamWhat our team is looking for:2+ years of experience in chairside dental assisting in a general dentistry settingAn EDDA certificate is requiredDentrix or other dental software experienceFlexible, reliable, positive, professional, outgoing, and supportive personality/attitudeWorking knowledge of dental procedures and terminologyExperience working in a fast-paced and customer-centric environmentExcellent communication and organizational skillsThe position will have access to minimum PHI necessary for performing job-related functions; regular HIPAA training, aligning with the specific role and responsibilities, will be required; and the individual will need to protect PHI and maintain data safeguards.Qualifications:Working knowledge of dental procedures and terminology Experience working in a patient- or customer-centered environmentIf required under the state dental practice act, dental assistant certification and/or x-ray certification Excellent communication and organizational skillsPreferred ExperienceDentrix or other dental software experienceDental assisting school certification
