Whether a child needs preventative or restorative dental care, we go the extra mile to ensure our patients have a friendly, upbeat experience and leave with healthy teeth and a big smile.Who we are looking for:Someone who graduated from an accredited dental assisting program with Expanded Duties.A great communicator who wants to make a difference in our patients’ care.Someone who thrives in a busy environment and is a team player.Eagerness to learn and provide extraordinary care to our patients.Previous Pediatric experience is a plus!Energetic, patient, and passionate about working with children.Responsibilities:Assist the dentist during generalized pediatric dental proceduresClean patients’ teethFluoride applicationTake digital radiographs (bitewings, panoramic)Provide hygiene and diet educationSchedule follow-up examsReview schedules to ensure appointments are scheduled appropriatelySet up and tear down dental chairs and operatory roomsConduct parent consults and discuss treatment plansClean and sterilize instrumentsRestock supplies in rooms and sterilization areasMaintain infection control and OSHA guidelinesParticipate in marketing endeavorsWrite letters to be sent to referralsWe offer a fun and fast-paced work environment with flexible work hours, competitive salaries and excellent benefits packages.Pediatric Dentistry of CenLA participates in E-Verify.
