Serving as the design and user-experience anchor of the Network leadership team, this leader is responsible for transforming complex, shared platform and network capabilities into intuitive, memorable, and high-fidelity consumer experiences.

This role will be a visionary design leader who can establish and scale the Experience Design function for SPORTS Network, instill a design-centric culture across the team, and champion design innovation in partnership with studios and design partners within EA SPORTS.

Your Responsibilities

Experience Strategy:

Ecosystem Experience Vision: Define the long-term, multi-platform vision for a connected EA SPORTS experiences, spanning console, mobile, web, and companion applications.

Scalable Design Systems: Establish, govern, and continuously evolve scalable design systems, UI/UX toolkits, and reusable interaction models across the portfolio.

Preserve Franchise Identity: Balance the need for network-wide experience consistency with the unique, highly branded visual identity of individual sports franchises.

Cross-Functional Leadership

The Leadership Triad: Partner directly with the Sr. Director of Product Management and Technical Director to build a user-centered development lifecycle where design, technology, and business goals align.

Experience Workshops: Lead collaborative experience workshops and build alignment around shared consumer experiences across different team boundaries.

Influence without Authority: Guide design direction and build consensus across disparate teams, studios, and brand partners through collaboration rather than direct authority.

Experience Innovation & Data Informed Design

Emerging Interactions: Explore and prototype next-generation interaction models, including AI-enabled personalization, spatial design, and real-time sports feed integrations.

Data-Informed Iteration: leverage user research, player data, and run experience design workflows to continuously iterate and elevate experiences.

Your Qualifications

Experience: 10+ years of experience leading UX, Product Design, Experience Design, or Creative Direction for world-class, large-scale digital consumer ecosystems or entertainment products.

Ecosystem Design: A strong portfolio demonstrating the creation of unified, multi-platform design systems and seamless consumer journeys across web, mobile, and console.

Experience leveraging AI in prototyping and creative or design concepting.

Strategic Execution: Proven ability to balance high-level creative strategy with operational execution and governance.

Storytelling: Exceptional executive storytelling, visual communication, and presentation skills, with a track record of building alignment through influence.

Education: Bachelor’s degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Digital Media, or equivalent experience.
