Job description
Automotive Service Technician
Haddad GMC is seeking a skilled Automotive Service Technician to join our team in Adams, MA. This role involves diagnosing, repairing, and performing maintenance on a wide variety of vehicles to ensure they run safely and efficiently. We are looking for a motivated individual with a strong mechanical background and a commitment to providing excellent customer service.
Responsibilities
Perform routine maintenance and repairs, including oil changes, tire rotations, brake repairs, and engine diagnostics
Diagnose mechanical and electrical problems accurately using diagnostic tools and equipment
Maintain detailed records of service and repairs performed
Communicate effectively with service advisors and customers regarding needed repairs and timelines
Ensure compliance with safety standards and company policies
Keep the work area clean and organized
Requirements
High school diploma or equivalent
Completion of an automotive service technician program or relevant work experience
Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills
Ability to use diagnostic tools and equipment
Excellent communication and customer service skills
Valid driver’s license
