Shop ForemanSouthern 441 Toyota, a fast-growing, customer-focused dealership, is seeking an experienced and results-driven Shop Foreman to lead our Service Shop.This is a high-impact leadership role responsible for maximizing service revenue, operational efficiency, and customer satisfaction through effective team management, workflow optimization, and quality control. You will drive profitability by increasing repair orders, customer pay hours, and overall service department performance while maintaining the highest standards of workmanship and customer experience.This position is not administrative. Must currently live within driving distance of location.Key Responsibilities:Lead, coach, and develop a team of technicians to maximize productivity, efficiency, and qualityOversee daily shop operations, workflow, dispatching, and technician assignments to ensure maximum billable hoursMaintain high standards of workmanship, safety, and adherence to Toyota procedures and best practicesDrive customer pay revenue through efficient repair order completion and upsell opportunitiesPartner closely with Service Advisors to ensure accurate diagnoses, timely repairs, and exceptional customer communicationMonitor and improve key performance metrics including hours per repair order, technician efficiency, and comebacksPerform quality control inspections and final verification of completed workMaintain shop organization, cleanliness, and proper tool/equipment usageTrack and document all production activity and results for performance reportingSubmit regular performance reports and maintain full documentation for compensation eligibilityRequirements:Minimum 3+ years of experience as a Shop Foreman in a high-volume dealership environmentStrong technical knowledge of Toyota vehicles preferred (will consider equivalent import/domestic experience)Proven track record of leading teams to achieve high production and revenue goalsExcellent leadership, communication, and problem-solving skillsAbility to work independently with high urgency and accountabilityASE certifications and/or Toyota-specific training strongly preferredFlexible availability — evenings and weekends may be required based on business needsValid driver’s license and clean driving recordMust be a team player with a good attitude and willing to assist technicians as needed, this is not a desk jobPerformance Expectations (KPIs):Consistently achieve or exceed department labor sales and gross profit targetsMaintain high technician efficiency and productivity levelsMinimize comebacks and warranty claimsHigh customer satisfaction scores (CSI)Effective daily management of repair order workflow and completion timesSuccessful development and performance of technician team membersStrong collaboration with Service Advisors resulting in maximized customer pay opportunitiesWhat We Offer:Competitive payBenefits package including medical, dental, and visionPaid time off and holiday payOngoing training and development (including Toyota certification support)Career growth opportunities within a growing dealershipWhy Southern 441 Toyota?
