Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician | $45–$60 + OT

Location: Staten Island, NY
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 7:30 AM–6:00 PM
Weekends: As needed
Pay: $45–$60 per flat-rate hour, plus applicable overtime

About All Tire & Service
All Tire & Service is seeking an experienced Lead Automotive Diagnostic Technician in Staten Island, NY. This leadership-focused technician role supports a high-volume, six-bay shop servicing approximately 850 vehicles each month. The Lead Technician will diagnose challenging drivability, electrical, and check-engine concerns across Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles while helping support less-experienced technicians.
Key Responsibilities
Diagnose and repair complex drivability, electrical, and mechanical concerns
Resolve challenging vehicle issues to maintain efficient workflow
Mentor less-experienced technicians and provide technical support
Collaborate with Service Advisors and management
Use Tire Shop/Freedom SMS, Steer CRM, AutoOps, and other shop technology
Qualifications
10+ years of professional automotive technician experience
Advanced automotive diagnostic and troubleshooting skills
Strong drivability and electrical diagnostic experience
Strong scan-tool knowledge
Experience servicing Domestic, Asian, and European vehicles
Ability to mentor and provide technical support to technicians
New York State Inspector License preferred
Compensation & Benefits
$45–$60 per flat-rate hour plus applicable overtime
$100,000–$120,000+ earning potential
Up to $450 per month toward medical, dental, and vision coverage
