nWe are looking for a Behavioral Therapist/Paraeducator to join our team and work with special education students to provide additional support and guidance to help students understand the academic work and undergo behavior modifications.
nParaeducator responsibilities include providing administrative support to teachers, monitoring a child's development, and preparing education materials for daily programs.
nUltimately, you will work with special education students to help them understand their classroom lessons.
nResponsibilities
nnProvide clerical and administrative support to teachers and professionals
nCarry out additional tasks as required of the job
nMonitor and manage children, particularly those with specific needs
nPrepare educational materials and instructions for daily programs
nEnsure a clean and safe classroom at all times
n nRequirements and skills
nnProven work experience as a Paraeducator or similar role
nExceptional verbal and written communication skills
nGreat interpersonal and social skills
nStrong presentation and reporting skills
nExcellent in handling and managing children
nRelevant training and/or certifications as a Paraeducator
