Griswold Home Care Caregiver PositionGriswold Home Care is hiring experienced, dependable caregivers to support clients with higher-acuity personal care needs, including clients who require assistance with a mechanical or Hoyer lift.We have opportunities throughout Southwest Raleigh, Cary, Apex, and Morrisville, with shifts ranging from 1 to 12 hours.At Griswold, we believe people deserve to live in the homes they love as they age. Our caregivers are at the heart of that mission, helping clients remain safe, comfortable, and independent.What We OfferPay ranging from $16.50–$25.00 per hourWeekly payRates based on experience, client needs, and shift lengthFull-time and part-time opportunitiesShifts ranging from 1 to 12 hoursThe ability to build a schedule around your availabilityPaid trainingOngoing education and professional developmentSupport from our office team 24 hours a day, 7 days a weekCaregiver ResponsibilitiesResponsibilities vary depending on each client’s care plan and may include:Safely operating a mechanical or Hoyer liftAssisting with transfers, mobility, and repositioningProviding hands-on assistance with bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and incontinence careSupporting clients who require extensive or total assistance with daily activitiesFollowing transfer and fall-prevention proceduresProviding companionship and supervisionPreparing meals and providing medication remindersPerforming light housekeepingObserving and reporting changes in a client’s conditionFollowing the client’s care plan and communicating concerns to the Griswold officeProviding two-person assistance when required by the care planRequirementsPrevious hands-on caregiving experienceExperience safely using a mechanical or Hoyer liftComfortable assisting clients with complex personal care and mobility needsCNA or PCA certification is strongly preferredMust be at least 18 years oldHigh school diploma or GEDCurrent TB test or willingness to obtain oneValid driver’s licenseReliable transportation and current auto insuranceAbility to pass a criminal background check and drug screeningDependable, compassionate, professional, and safety-focusedAble to perform the physical responsibilities of the position safelyAbility to communicate effectively with clients, families, and the Griswold teamIf you are an experienced caregiver who is confident providing hands-on support to clients with higher-acuity needs, apply today to join the Griswold Home Care team!This Griswold Home Care office is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
