Caliente is an award-winning, commercial general contractor that is continually recognized for our impeccable safety, exceptional services, and sincere commitment to our community.This position supports a variety of commercial construction projects and works closely with superintendents and other trades to deliver high-quality work safely and efficiently.ResponsibilitiesPerform rough and finish carpentry on commercial construction projectsAssist with layout, framing, and trim carpentryInstall doors, frames, hardware, millwork, and specialty items as neededRead and interpret construction drawings and specificationsSafely operate hand tools, power tools, and basic construction equipmentMaintain a clean, organized, and safe jobsiteAssist other trades and perform general labor duties as requiredFollow company safety policies and OSHA regulationsQualificationsPrevious commercial carpentry or construction experience preferredBasic knowledge of carpentry tools, materials, and methodsAbility to read tape measures and understand basic construction drawingsStrong work ethic, reliability, and attention to detailAbility to lift 50+ lbs and work in varying weather and jobsite conditionsValid driver's license and reliable transportation requiredOSHA 10 certification a plus (or willingness to obtain)Caliente Construction provides equal employment opportunities to all employees and applicants for employment and prohibits discrimination and harassment of any type without regard to race, color, religion, age, sex, national origin, disability status, genetics, protected veteran status, sexual orientation, gender identity or expression, or any other characteristic protected by federal, state or local laws.
