Role Description This full-time, on-site role is located in Midland, VA and is for an Experienced Class A local CDL Truck Driver operating Landoll, lowboy, and flatbed equipment. The driver will perform daily pre-trip and post-trip inspections, safely operate assigned trucks and trailers, and transport various loads to local destinations. Responsibilities include securing and unloading cargo, complying with DOT regulations and company safety policies, and completing all required logs and documentation accurately. The driver will coordinate with dispatch, follow route plans, and communicate any issues or delays promptly. This position involves working primarily in the local area, returning home daily, and supporting customers through professional and courteous service.
Qualifications
Valid CDL Class A license and proven experience in professional Truck Driving.
Hands-on experience with Landoll, lowboy, and flatbed Truck operation and load handling.
Ability to safely perform loading and unloading, including proper load securement techniques.
Clean driving record and ability to pass background checks and drug/alcohol screening.
Physical ability to handle equipment, secure loads, and work in varying weather conditions.
Reliable time management, attention to detail, and strong communication skills with dispatch and customers. xxzpjkt
Experience with local routes in Virginia or the surrounding region is a plus.
