Job Description Job Description Fichter & Co. LLC is seeking an experienced Electrician / Mechanic to join our growing team. We are a well-established electrical contractor based in Bergen County, NJ, performing residential, commercial, and light industrial electrical work throughout Northern New Jersey.
We are looking for a dependable electrician who can work independently, troubleshoot electrical systems, and complete projects in a professional and efficient manner.
Responsibilities
Perform electrical installations, service work, and troubleshooting
Read and interpret electrical drawings and specifications
Install and troubleshoot branch circuits, lighting, receptacles, panels, service equipment, and electrical controls
Lead small projects and work independently with minimal supervision
Maintain a clean, safe, and organized job site
Communicate professionally with customers, inspectors, and fellow employees
Qualifications
Minimum 3 years of electrical experience
Residential and commercial experience required
Service troubleshooting experience preferred
Ability to read blueprints and electrical diagrams
Valid New Jersey driver's license required
Own basic hand tools
Strong work ethic, dependable attendance, and professional appearance
What We Offer
Full-time employment (40+ hours per week)
Monday-Friday, 8:00 AM-4:30 PM
